FOR WEDDING & EVENT VENUE OWNERS

Event furniture for California venues.

Choose a coordinated event furniture package for your California venue: ceremony seating, reception dining and lounge pieces that suit the property and the way events move through it.

01 / THE COMPLETE EVENT

Match the setting without locking in one event style.

From an enclosed city venue to a wine-country terrace, furniture choices work best when the look, exposure and daily handling are considered together.

A Wine Country property can need terrace and dining furniture at the same time. A Southern California courtyard venue may put more of the guest journey outside, while a Bay Area urban space may make access the first constraint. For a Central Coast property, define the exposure of each zone before narrowing material and upholstery options.

Urban event venues

Check the route for larger lounge pieces before specifying overall dimensions.

Courtyard and coastal settings

Request suitability information for each indoor, covered or exposed placement.

02 / RECEPTION TABLES & CHAIRS

Choose the table and chair as a pair.

An exposed tabletop can become part of the venue’s look, but it also needs a clear cleaning and protection plan. Compare it with a linen-covered option using the same place setting. Choose a chair profile that works with the table edge and complements more than one event palette.

Bring the whole setting into the brief

  • Chair style, seat comfort and preferred upholstery
  • Round, rectangular or mixed table inventory
  • Frame and tabletop finishes seen together
  • Existing pieces the new order should coordinate with
  • Cleaning, handling and replacement requirements

03 / CEREMONY SEATING

A ceremony setup with a plan for what follows.

For a terrace ceremony, confirm which chairs are available independently of dinner. If the setup must move inside, draw that arrangement before ordering. Avoid letting a beautiful outdoor layout become the only workable plan for a full guest list.

Include the aisle, entrance and guest movement in your drawing. Use the venue’s approved layout and have the final arrangement reviewed through your normal venue approval process.

04 / COCKTAIL & LOUNGE FURNITURE

Give guests somewhere to settle in.

Keep the lounge finish connected to the reception furniture without making every item identical. A shared timber tone or upholstery family can do the work. Check sunlight, exposure and cleaning expectations for the chosen position and use pieces that can move through the actual access route.

List lounge chairs, sofas, side tables and cocktail-height tables separately. Include overall dimensions and the intended indoor, covered or exposed location in the request.

COUNT WHAT OPENS TOGETHER

A guest count is the start of the furniture schedule.

That creates 280 dining and ceremony chairs before lounge seating. If you plan to share a chair set, confirm when it can move and how the team will move it. Add reserve pieces according to your own operating plan.

05 / STORAGE & CHANGEOVERS

Buy for the work between events.

Photograph the store room and show how loaded carts approach it. A furniture package should account for any narrow lane, lift or remote storage building. Include the table-trolley footprint and a designated place for lounge cushions or protective covers.

Request the manufacturer’s stacking, cart and handling information for the specific furniture proposed. Confirm the delivered scope, assembly arrangements and storage requirements with the quotation.

BEFORE YOU SEND THE BRIEF

Your California furniture questions.

Can the same finish run through indoor and outdoor California event spaces?

A coordinated appearance is possible, but the products may need different materials. Describe each location and the desired look. Compare the proposed indoor and outdoor specifications together instead of requiring one construction type everywhere.

Can I ask about a complete venue furniture package?

Yes. Include ceremony, reception, cocktail and lounge areas, plus the furniture you want to keep. Share quantities or a rough plan so the conversation can cover the whole package and the order in which you need it.

What should I include when asking about pricing?

Send the venue location, furniture types, approximate quantities, finish preferences and timeframe. Include access and receiving details. Current options, price, availability and delivery scope need to be confirmed for the actual order.
